SEMODU – groundbreaking concepts for modular construction – future of development
SEMODU – modular buildings and new energy concepts for our future
With modular buildings based on wood, SEMODU is heading for the future
Modular buildings will shape the future of our cities. SEMODU has started developing those building modules in 2016 and has established a joint-stock company in Mai 2017. The buildings are mostly made in so-called room modules, which allow shortest construction times. Essentially, wood is used as building material. The modules are made of solid wood elements and these modular buildings last for generations. SEMODU is also concerned with new storage solutions for energy, the digitization of buildings and bionic building constructions. SEMODU achieves with the existing concepts: shorter construction times, capital savings and a contribution to climate protection, because wood stores large amounts of carbon dioxide.
